Welcome to Eustis - The Sausage Capital of Nebraska!

Eustis is a small village nestled in the rolling hills mid-way between the Platte River and the Republican River. Eustis is located just off Highway 23 and is 13 miles south of Interstate 80. With air service at North Platte and Kearney, Eustis is only an hour away from the rest of the world. The village has a proud German heritage which has been kept alive by many customs, foods and celebrations.

On Jan. 8, 1993, Eustis was declared the "Sausage Capital of Nebraska" by the Nebraska Legislature. Although farming and cattle raising are the main industries of the area, this friendly town offers an attractive and progressive business district with many young business people.

Eustis has an excellent school system with many professionals at the top of their fields who can claim alumni status. From athletics to FFA to mock trial, students participate in a broad curriculum to prepare them for life after high school.

We welcome you to our town web site, and encourage you to take a look around and see what makes Eustis the best small town in Nebraska!
