Annual Events in Eustis

Sod House Day - First Monday of May - Students study pioneer days with a touch of fun and games.

Wurst Tag - Second Saturday in June - A German heritage celebration similar to an Oktoberfest, Wurst Tag is a family celebration held the second Saturday in June each year. Some of the events include the early morning Volkmarch and Road Race. During the day there are heritage contests, games, demonstrations and displays. The day concludes with a large German dinner, Polka dance and American street dance. Two large beer tents provide seating and shade during the day.

July 4th Celebration - Sunday nearest to July 4th - Celebrate this American holiday with friends and family. Evening activities include softball games, an ice cream social, barbecue, children's games and a magnificent fireworks display.

Eustis Fair & Corn Show - Second week in August - Features a demolition derby, 4-H exhibits, stage shows, riding and roping activities and great food that can be enjoyed by the whole family.

Craft Fair - First Saturday of November - Over 80 craft vendors display their finest works in three different locations with free shuttle service for your convenience.

Saint Nicholas - December 6th - An annual event based on the 14th century custom of the arrival of St. Nicholas in Germany. St. Nick arrives on the fire truck with candy for the children. Celebrate the event with hot dogs and hot chocolate.
